Pakistan’s FM Ishaq Dar to Visit Kabul Today
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, will arrive in Kabul today, Thursday, July 17, for a one-day visit.
According to Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the visit aims to sign a “Framework Agreement for Joint Feasibility Studies” for the Uzbekistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan railway project.Dar will be joined by a high-level delegation, including the Minister of Railways and the Special Representative for Afghanistan.
The railway initiative seeks to connect Uzbekistan to Pakistan via Afghanistan, providing Central Asian countries access to Pakistani ports.
The Ministry highlighted that the project will promote regional stability, growth, and development by enhancing trade and transit.During the visit, the delegation will hold talks with the Islamic Emirate’s Prime Minister and Acting Foreign Minister on bilateral ties, regional issues, and international matters
