Comprising two chapters and 13 articles, this law specifically outlines the procedures for holding poetry gatherings, the content of poets’ works, and the duties of the evaluation committee.

According to the law, poets are required to adhere to Islamic and ethical principles before and during poetry gatherings.

They must refrain from insulting religious sanctities, inciting division among ethnic groups or languages, promoting un-Islamic behaviors, or criticizing the decisions of the Leader of the Islamic Emirate.
