Installation of Over 5,000 Tents for Earthquake Victims in Kunar
Local authorities in Kunar province have announced that more than 5,000 tents have been set up in temporary camps to accommodate earthquake victims.
These camps are equipped with basic necessities to support the affected families.
Najibullah Hanif, Director of Information and Culture in Kunar, stated: “We have installed over 5,000 tents for earthquake-affected families, and this process is ongoing.
Additional tents will be provided. We have two areas: one where tents are set up in the victims’ local communities, and another where we plan to relocate some families, though the exact number is yet to be determined.
For all those relocated, tents have been provided, camps are operational, and all essential supplies have been arranged.”Meanwhile, earthquake victims are urging the Islamic Emirate and aid organizations to provide not only shelter but also other critical assistance.
